Morning Walking Tour: Dublin Literary Tour (In association with Dublin Book Festival)

Thursday, 6 November 2025 - Sunday, 9 November 2025
About this event
This tour focuses on writers who’ve passed to the great library in the sky—otherwise, it’d take twice as long! While most historic writers here were men, today’s literary scene is proudly diverse. From Christ Church Cathedral to St Patrick’s Cathedral, we’ll explore famous and hidden spots linked to writers like Swift, Beckett, Dickens, and J.P. Donleavy.
Dublin became a UNESCO City of Literature in 2010, one of 53 worldwide, and is uniquely home to four Nobel laureates: Yeats, Beckett, Shaw, and Heaney. Creative writing continues to thrive here, as celebrated by the Dublin Book Festival.
