Life and death, beauty and horror, disgust and fascination. These contrasts run through the award-winning Finnish artist Maija Tammi’s work.

This exhibition marks the Irish premiere of The Empathy Machine, a rare chance to encounter Tammi’s radical storytelling across video, photography, and installation. At its core is Hulda & Lilli, an immersive artwork that fuses art and science into a striking narrative experience.

Visitors begin by making a choice that determines how they move through the work. Fairytale-like stories unfold in shifting sequences, told through photographs, illuminated texts, and a large-scale video projection.
